This responsibility also brings many worries: The exhaustion of not having time for friends and family, feelings of monotony and self-doubt. The protagonist of Svetlana Biryukova's photo serie "Guyko" is also a single mother. She lives in Moscow, and when she made the decision to raise her child alone, she was without a job as well as physically and mentally exhausted. Despite her despair, she still decides every day with renewed courage to take care of her daughter on her own. Svetlana Biryukova accompanied her with her camera to share her life, which despite everything speaks of beautiful moments with her child.
